World in a Drop of Water

Just went to see a show by Juan Geuer, an artist appearing as part of the Subtle Technologies event (festival?)

There were three pieces, the strongest being the one you see pictured at the top of the link. Basically, you just watch the wall as a drop of water, illuminated by an amber laser light, slowwwwwly swells and drops. The tension, the energy, and the movement in that one physical action was really lovely and interesting. Strangely otherworldly, which is odd considering how banal a water droplet is.
